Indian 3 (also marketed as&#;Indian 3: War Mode) is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language vigilanteaction thriller film directed by S.
Shankar, who co-wrote the script with B. Jeyamohan, Kabilan Vairamuthu and Lakshmi Saravana Kumar. The film was jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies.

Indian 2 was initially intended to be a single film; however, due to the final footage becoming over six hours long, the team later split it into two parts.
Principal photography commenced in 17January and was shot sporadically over the next four years in Chennai, Rajahmundry, Bhopal, Gwalior, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Johannesburg and Taiwan. Before wrapping in 2 March , a suspension made by an accident that killed some crew members and delay by the COVID pandemic were made.
